Man, 73, hurt in unprovoked 'road-rage attack' in Warrington
A 73-year-old man was punched in the face in an unprovoked "road-rage" attack in Warrington, police said.
The man was assaulted after he pulled onto his drive in Gregory Close, Sankey on Wednesday. A man in a white van also drew up and attacked him.
Police said the man was left in shock and "sustained significant injury".
The incident is being treated as road-rage because of what the attacker said to the victim. The attacker was white, 5ft 4ins tall, and aged 30 to 40.
He had short light brown hair and was of "chubby build".
