Churches in the South West get grant money for repairs

Four churches in the South West have been given grants of £10,000 each for repairs and improvements.

Roof repairs will take place at St Mary's church in Chard, Somerset and at St Briochus in Lezant, Cornwall.

The tower of St Mary the Virgin in Woolfardisworthy, Devon, will be repaired and renovation work will take place at Bath Quaker Meeting House.

The money has come from the National Churches Trust, which has awarded £645,000 to 45 churches across the UK.
