Three firefighters and five crew members suffered burn injuries tackling a blaze in the boiler room of a cross-Channel ferry in the Port of Dover.
The fire in the boiler room of the DFDS Seaways Ferry started at about 14:30 BST.
All 316 passengers were safely disembarked at Eastern Docks in the Port of Dover.
The firefighters, from Kent Fire Service, and the five crew are being treated in hospital.
