Warning over M1 Chesterfield and Sheffield weekend closures
Drivers in Derbyshire and South Yorkshire are being warned about delays as work is carried out under seven bridges on the M1, over six weekends.
Both carriageways between junction 30 near Chesterfield and junction 31 near Sheffield will be affected at weekends until 9 November.
Lane closures and a 50mph speed limit will be in place, which the Highways Agency said could cause some delays.
The work is part of a scheme to convert part of the M1 to a "smart motorway".

It means the M1 will be four lanes from junction 25 to junction 35a, except across Tinsley Viaduct, which will increase from two lanes to three.
Commenting on the resurfacing and waterproofing work to be carried out on the bridges, Highways Agency project manager Arun Sahani said: "Although most of the work will be carried out at night, there will be lane restrictions in place all day on Saturdays and until 10am on Sundays.
"We therefore advise road users to allow extra time for their journeys."
