Tribute to cyclist killed in Eggborough crash

The wife of a cyclist who was killed in a crash with a lorry in North Yorkshire has said he will be "forever missed".

Julian Barlow, 49, from Goole, suffered serious injuries in the incident on Saturday, at the roundabout of the junction at the M62 and A19 near Eggborough.

He was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary where he died.

Mr Barlow's wife, Wendy, said his death had left a hole that could never be filled.

She said: "Jules was the love of my life. I will forever miss him."

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, which involved a heavy goods vehicle with a white cab and a white and blue trailer.
