Images of the "most wanted" burglary suspects across the south-east of England have been released by police.

Detectives from the Thames Valley, Sussex, Surrey and Kent forces believe the 10 could be responsible for dozens of break-ins across the region.

It is the first time the forces have combined for an anti-burglary campaign.

Det Ch Insp Ian Williams said: "We urgently need the public's help to track down and arrest each of these men."

Among those identified is Simon Knights, 38 who is wanted for questioning about burglaries in Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and Essex.

Vasile Rotaru was arrested on suspicion of committing two burglaries in Farnham Common in March 2012 but did not answer bail after being released.

Billy Foster, 20, is wanted on suspicion of two burglaries in Smallfield, Surrey, on 6 April during which £15,000 was stolen.

Convicted burglar Simon Bercowitz, 64, from Brighton, is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his licence after he was released part way through a five-and-a-half-year sentence for a series of break-ins in Hampshire.
