Long delays after Brighton train derailment
A train derailment outside Brighton station has caused cancellations and long delays to rail services in the South East.
The empty Southern train derailed at about 14:00 BST as it was leaving a depot and heading towards the station.
There are no services running to and from London at the station, however, east and west services have restarted.
A Network Rail spokeswoman said engineers were onsite evaluating the situation.
She said: "London Bridge, Victoria, Clapham Junction and East Croydon stations are likely to be very busy.
"We apologise for the delays and disruption to our passengers' journeys."
There are replacement bus services running to Haywards Heath and Three Bridges.
