Third arrest in Hertfordshire missing man murder probe

A third person has been arrested by police in Hertfordshire investigating the suspected murder of a 43-year-old man from North London.

A 29-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of being concerned in the murder.

On Tuesday a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and a 25-year-old woman on suspicion of being concerned in the murder.

The 36-year old from Abbots Langley is still in police custody.

The 25-year-old woman from Borehamwood has since been bailed and is due to report back to a police station next week pending further inquiries.

DCI Mark Ross said: "We continue to appeal for anyone in the area of Bagenal House, Shirley Road in Abbots Langley who may have seen any suspicious behaviour over the last two weeks.

"We are specifically interested in Saturday 10 July, the day before the World Cup Final."

The missing man, who has not been named at this time, was last seen on 10 July.
