Construction is due to begin on a new £6m GP surgery in Buckinghamshire.

The Chesham Healthzone will have treatment rooms, multi-purpose clinical areas and a generous number of parking spaces, NHS Buckinghamshire said.

Building work on the Berkhampstead Road site will start at the end of August, it added.

The New Surgery in the town's Lindo Close and The Surgery in Gladstone Road will move in to the new building, which is expected to open in early 2012.
