A man and a boy have been charged with the murder of Assia Shahzad, 40, at a house in Buckinghamshire.

She was found injured at an address in Wendover Road, Aylesbury, on Saturday night.

Usman Shahzad, 21, of Havelock Street, Aylesbury, and a 16-year-old boy were charged early on Monday.

They are to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates' Court. A post-mortem examination found Ms Shahzad died from injuries to her head and arms.

The family of Ms Shahzad, who died on Saturday night at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, have released a tribute.

"Assia was a loving daughter and sister and a devoted mother to her children," they said.

"She was the most caring daughter that anyone could have wished for. She was a friend of Aylesbury and Aylesbury has lost a friend.

"She would go that extra mile to help others who needed it."
