Essex driver in fatal A10 Hertfordshire crash named

A driver who died in a two-car crash in Hertfordshire has been named as a 50-year-old from Essex.

Stephen Barker, of Hamley Hill, Roydon, died at the scene of the collision on the A10, by the Ware viaduct, shortly before 1900 BST on Sunday.

He was driving a Land Rover Discovery when it crashed with a BMW 325 on the northbound carriageway.

The A10 was shut until the early hours of Monday. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hertfordshire Police.
