Motorcyclist dies after Bedfordshire collision

A motorcyclist has died in hospital after being injured in a collision with a Land Rover in Bedfordshire.

The 22-year-old was on a Honda motorbike travelling along Woburn Road at Heath and Reach, near Leighton Buzzard, at about 0745 BST on Tuesday.

A Land Rover that had turned right out of Reach Lane collided with him.

The rider, who is from the area, was taken to hospital but later died. The Land Rover driver, from Flitwick, was not injured.
