More than 70 firefighters have been working to put out a fire which has wrecked a house in Buckinghamshire.

The occupants managed to escape from the fire, which began at the house in Grove, near Leighton Buzzard, shortly after 1000 GMT.

Crew from about 20 appliances were at the scene of the fire at its peak.

The blaze affected all three floors of the house. A spokesman for the fire service said it was believed it might have spread from the chimney.
