Reward offer after robbery at cash and carry store

A £10,000 reward is being offered by a company for information after an armed robbery at one of its stores in Buckinghamshire.

Two men wearing balaclavas entered the Booker Cash and Carry in Halifax Road, High Wycombe, on Friday.

The men threatened the cashiers with a gun and a baseball bat and demanded they hand over an amount of cash.

The two men are described as Asian and in their early to mid 20s. One is about 6ft (1.8m), and the other is shorter.

Det Con Tim Robins, from Thames Valley Police, said: "Booker Cash and Carry is offering a £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible and I urge anyone who knows anything to get in touch.

"Although the men forced the cashier to hand over money, fortunately he wasn't injured but has been left very shaken by what happened.

"It is possible that these men could have left on foot and there were a few people in the area at the time that might have seen the men before or after the robbery happened."
