Hemel Hempstead boy charged with attempted rape

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted rape after a girl was attacked in a Hertfordshire park.
The girl, 16, was with another boy, aged 15, when they were attacked in the park between Turners Hill and Hillfield Road, Hemel Hempstead, on 11 December.
The 16-year-old boy is also accused of two counts of robbery and a sexual assault, which allegedly took place in Adeyfield Road on 13 December.
He will appear before Hemel Hempstead Youth Court on 22 December.
Two 16-year-old boys who were arrested in connection with the park attack have been released on conditional bail until 20 January.
An 18-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was also arrested but released without charge.
