Kettering woman denies Milton Keynes fire deaths

A Northamptonshire woman has denied killing a mother and three-year-old girl who were found dead in a Milton Keynes flat after a fire.

Bola Ejifunmilayo, 29, and her daughter Fiyin died at the house in Fishermead Boulevard on 5 September.

Their bodies were found by firefighters a day later.

Barbara Zhanje, 48, of Mill Road, Kettering, denied two counts of manslaughter at Luton Crown Court. The trial will start on 28 February.

Miss Zhanje was remanded on conditional bail until her trial and must not enter Milton Keynes.
