A 34-year-old man has denied murdering a man whose body was found in a Bedford street on Christmas Day last year.

Inderjit Singh, 39, of Bedford, was discovered in Calshot Walk with a stab wound to the neck.

David Folley, of Calshot Walk, Bedford, appeared before Luton Crown Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

He was remanded in custody until a review hearing in May. His trial had originally been due to start on 16 June, but may be delayed until August.
