A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his partner in Buckinghamshire.

Blake Ross, 36, of Two Mile Ash, Milton Keynes, appeared at Milton Keynes magistrates' court charged with the murder of 36-year-old Kim Jeffery.

Post-mortem tests showed she had died from stab wounds and "blunt force trauma".

Ross was remanded in custody to appear at Luton Crown Court on Friday.

'Our beautiful daughter'

Officers were called to a property in Two Mile Ash at 2046 BST on Sunday following reports of a disturbance.

They found Ms Jeffery, widely known as Kim Randall, suffering from serious injuries and she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

In a tribute released through Thames Valley Police, her family said: "We have been overwhelmed by the enormous outpouring of love, sympathy and support we have received from our extended families, friends, colleagues and acquaintances from all areas of our lives.

"Nothing can compensate for the loss of Kim, our beautiful daughter, wife and mother but knowing that so many people share our sorrow at this difficult time, has provided an element of comfort for the whole family."
