Driver bailed over three-year-old girl's crash death

A 57-year-old driver arrested when a three-year-old girl died in hospital after being struck by a car in Hertfordshire has been bailed.

The child was struck by a Mazda sports car on Kneesworth Street, Royston, Hertfordshire, on Sunday afternoon. She died later in hospital.

A five-year-old girl also involved in the collision was unhurt.

The local man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
