Milton Keynes station upgrade plans unveiled
Proposals have been unveiled for a £2.7m improvement scheme to a Buckinghamshire railway station.
Work will be carried out at Central Milton Keynes station. It will start in August.
It follows consultation with the local community and interested parties who had their say on what they wanted the money spent on.
The plans include creating safer access for pedestrians and cyclists and improving the taxi rank facilities.
Councillor John Bint, cabinet member with responsibility for transport, said: "Station Square is for many a first impression for visitors, therefore it is crucial to prove easy access to the city and beyond.
"We will minimise any disruption during the construction period, however it is inevitable that some will occur."
