Milton Ernest tree crash woman named

A woman who died after the car she was driving struck a tree in Bedfordshire has been named as a 64-year-old who lived locally.

Jacqueline Muir's Renault Clio left Thurleigh Road, near the village of Milton Ernest in the north of the county, at about 21:45 BST on Saturday.

She was taken to hospital but died soon after arrival.

Ms Muir had lived at The Close in Thurleigh. An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned on Thursday.
