Charges over stolen goods after Hertfordshire raids
Two men aged 22 and 32 and a 26-year-old woman have been charged with conspiracy to handle stolen goods after police raids in Hertfordshire.
About 100 police officers carried out the raids in Baldock, Letchworth and Stotfold on Thursday.
Suspected burglars, vehicle thieves and people involved in robbery and drug crime were targeted, police said.
Sixteen warrants were carried out under the Hertfordshire police Operation Scorpion.
Two men aged 23 and 37, from Letchworth, were also arrested and released on bail until 11 November.
North Hertfordshire has seen a significant increase in break-ins to garages and outbuildings, police said.
More than 200 items were recovered including high value bicycles, tools, gardening equipment and a quad bike.
