High Wycombe hit-and-run: Man, 71, held by detectives

A 71-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Buckinghamshire.

Ryan Adamson, 25, of Nantwich, Cheshire, was hit by a car in Cockpit Road, Great Kingshill, High Wycombe, in the early hours of 15 March.

It is believed Mr Adamson was lying in the road when he was hit.

The man, from High Wycombe, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

He has been bailed until 7 June.

Officers have also seized a car in connection with the investigation.

Three other men, aged 22, 24 and 38, were arrested following Mr Adamson's death. They have been released on bail until 23 April.
