Three arrests after man's death in Aylesbury

Three men have been arrested over the death of a 38-year-old found collapsed in a Buckinghamshire street.

A member of the public alerted ambulance crews after seeing the man collapse in Argyle Avenue, Aylesbury, at about 20:30 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he was confirmed dead. The cause of his death is not yet known, police said.

The three men are aged 32, 52 and 56 and were arrested in a nearby flat.

A post-mortem examination is expected to take place later.

Det Insp Chris Inness, from Aylesbury CID, said: "I am aware of some speculation locally that he had been stabbed but there is no evidence at this time that that is the case."

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
