Man remanded over shooting in St Albans
A 21-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged in connection with a shooting in Hertfordshire.
Police were called to Praetorian Court in St Albans on Tuesday after reports a man had been wounded by a gun.
They found a 24-year-old man who was taken to hospital where he remains but his condition is not known.
Police arrested a man in Belmont Hill. He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Thursday charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
A 22-year-old man also arrested in connection with the inquiry has been released on police bail while further inquiries are made, a police spokesperson said.
