Luton Polish attack victim dies in hospital

A Polish man has died a week after he was seriously injured in an attack in a house in Luton.

The 51-year-old was found with serious head injuries at his home in Stockwood Crescent on 7 August.

He died at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital on Wednesday. Police are now treating the case as murder.

Janusz Przystanski, 48, and Konrad Kaczysky, 30, also of Stockwood Crescent, were charged with grievous bodily harm before the man died.

They are due before Luton Crown Court on 21 August.
