Man admits grievous bodily harm over Aylesbury attack

A man who was charged with the attempted murder of a 30-year-old woman in Aylesbury has admitted two lesser charges.

Darren Stenhouse, 38, of Belgrave Road, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and false imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday.

The charges related to an attack on 5 March at another house in his street, in which the victim sustained head and arm injuries.

He is due to be sentenced on 12 July.

Stenhouse pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and assault by beating, which will remain on file but not taken further.
