CCTV images have been released showing a man wanted by police in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Luton.

Jordan Maguire, 20, was found on 26 May at his home in Thrales Close and died later at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

The new images show the suspect buying items at a shop in Marsh Farm about three hours before the murder.

Detectives believe the man is the same person seen pushing a light-coloured bike in footage released last week.

The suspect is shown wearing dark glasses while shopping at the Nisa store in Marsh Farm.

Det Insp John Arthur, of the Beds, Cambs and Herts Major Crime Unit, said he believed the man may "live locally or has very local connections".

"Someone must know who this man is," he added.

"He's clearly been around on the estate for at least three hours on the afternoon of bank holiday Sunday."

Officers will be distributing leaflets with the suspect's image to homes in the area as they seek to identify him.

Det Insp Arthur said: "We do need to speak with him so if you know him, please do not approach him but contact the police."

A man, 22, and a girl, 16, were arrested and released on bail a fortnight ago.
