Waqar Hussain cleared of child sex grooming charges

A 25-year-old man has been cleared by a jury of grooming a child and committing sexual offences against her.

Waqar Hussain, from Kingsway, Luton, had denied charges of meeting a child after sexual grooming and two counts of sexual activity with a child.

He was charged following a complaint by the mother of a 14-year-old girl in High Wycombe that her daughter had been contacted via a social networking site.

Mr Hussain was acquitted by a jury at Oxford Crown Court.
