Little Gaddesdon stabbing: Assisting an offender charges dropped

The case against two people accused of assisting an offender following the killing of man in a Hertfordshire village has been dropped.

Graham Buck, 66, was stabbed to death in July in Little Gaddesden as he went to help a neighbour.

Prosecutors asked for the case against Shirley Dean, 54, and David McCollin, 50, to be "discontinued" at St Albans Crown Court on Monday.

A man has been charged with Mr Buck's murder and remains in custody.
