Isaac Stone stab death in Bedford was 'targeted' attack
The fatal stabbing of a teenager in Bedford was a "targeted attack", police have said.
The 19-year-old, named locally as rapper Isaac Stone, also known as Dynamikk, died at about 18:20 GMT on Sunday, in Costin Street.
Bedfordshire Police says he probably knew his attackers.
A 20-year-old man, questioned in connection with the death, has been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Police say they have also searched three addresses in Bedford and Shortstown as part of the investigation.
Det Chief Insp Jon Hutchinson said the force now had "a much clearer picture" of Sunday's events.
"It is clear that this was a targeted attack," he said.
"We are confident that there was not a racial motive behind the murder and it is more than likely that the victim knew who his attackers were."
He added a number of people were in Costin Street at the time and asked anyone who witnessed the attack to contact police.
A remembrance page has been created on Facebook, called A Fallen Angel; Dynamikk, where friends have left tributes.
But a second page, called Dynamikk, which claims to have been created to "raise sponsorship" in the teenager's memory, is being investigated by officers.
A police spokesman said: "The family of Isaac Stone have made us aware of a Facebook page which they have concerns about and we will be taking a look into the legitimacy of it."
