Hockcliffe body: Arrest as woman found at her home

A man has been arrested after a woman in her 30s was found dead at her home in a village near Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

Police were called to Manor Road, Hockcliffe, on Friday afternoon by ambulance crews.

A post-mortem examination was unable to establish the cause of death, which police were treating as unexplained.

The man, who is also in his 30s and believed to be known to the woman, was released on police bail.

Police said they were now waiting for the results of histology and toxicology tests.

The woman had yet to be formally identified.
