Two masked men have threatened members of staff in a raid at a petrol station in Berkshire.
The raiders burst into Shinfield Service Station, in Arborfield Road, Shinfield, at about 0040 BST.
They threatened two employees before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police have not confirmed if a weapon was involved.
They then left the area in what is believed to be a white Vauxhall Corsa. The two workers were not harmed.
Det Con Ali Bagshaw said: "This was obviously a very distressing incident for the two men who were working at the service station at the time, but fortunately no one was injured.
"Scenes of Crime Officers are carrying out a detailed examination of the station this morning and it remains closed to the public at this time. "
