Slough man remanded in custody after £1m cocaine haul

A man has appeared in court after more than 3kg (7lbs) of cocaine, with a street value of about £1m, was seized.

Jatinder Purewal, 34, was held at a property on Coleridge Crescent on 6 August.

Mr Purewal was charged with supplying cocaine and importing a class A drug.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded in custody until 10 September by Slough magistrates.
