The 40-year-old was shot in The Delph, Lower Earley, Wokingham, on the night of 27 September. He is recovering well.

Three men, 29, 33 and 38, and a woman, 27, of Woodley, were held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

The men, from Woodley, Lower Earley and Reading, were also held on suspicion of attempted murder, possessing a firearm, theft of motor vehicle and arson.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who saw a metallic blue MG ZT 160 four-door saloon in the Reading area in the days before the shooting to contact them.

The vehicle was stolen from Coventry on 23 September and had false plates showing the registration AD53 TOJ.
