Man arrested after Berkshire money box raid

A man was arrested after a security guard was robbed as he transferred money at a restaurant in Berkshire.

The man was taking a cash container from McDonald's at the Savacentre in Calcot when he was approached by two men on a motorbike at about 1030 BST.

The men took the box after forcing the guard to drop it to the floor.

The bike was later found in the car park area of Sheffield Bottom, Theale. A 20-year-old man is being questioned in connection with the incident.
