Charge over death of Berkshire pedestrian dropped

A mother who was accused, along with her daughter, of causing the death of a pedestrian in Berkshire has had the charge against her dropped.

Christine Lyon, 63, of Maidenhead, died when she was hit by a Suzuki Jimny that mounted a pavement in Reading.

Keisha Wall, 19, and Constance Wall, 44, of Caversham, were charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

The charge against Constance Wall, who was a passenger in the Suzuki, was dismissed at Reading Crown Court.
