Man hunted after sex attack in Reading alleyway

A sex attacker is being hunted by police after a teenager was assaulted in a Berkshire alleyway.

The 16-year-old girl was walking near Overdown Road and the Tilehurst Triangle, Reading, when she was stopped by a man wearing a hooded top.

The attacker, who was in his early 30s, sexually assaulted the teenager and then ran off following the attack at about 0820 GMT on Wednesday.

Detectives from Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses.
