Woman dies after house fire in Berkshire

A woman has died following a house fire in Berkshire.

Firefighters were called to the property in Brands Hill in Langley, near Slough, on Saturday shortly after 0800 GMT.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus helped two people from the building but one of the occupants, a woman, died as a result of the fire.

Berkshire Fire and Rescue said an investigation had been launched but there were no suspicious circumstances.
