Lead theft at Sunningdale hall admitted by teenager

A teenage thief has been cautioned after admitting stealing lead from the roof of a village hall.

The 18-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested by police on Thursday.

The lead was stolen from the village hall in Sunningdale, Ascot, on Monday evening.

Neighbourhood officers discovered the stolen lead inside his house after a search and the teenager then admitted the theft.
