Eighteen men face Slough prostitution charge

Eighteen men have been charged with soliciting after a police operation in a Berkshire town.

A total of 36 men, aged between 22 and 52, were arrested on suspicion of soliciting in the Chalvey area of Slough between 21 and 24 February.

Half of them have now been charged and are due before Maidenhead magistrates on 22 June.

Fifteen men remain on police bail while the other three have been released without charge.

The charged men are from several locations, including Slough, Maidenhead, Windsor, Reading and London.
