Jewellery snatched from women in Slough

Four women have had Indian gold jewellery snatched from them while walking in Slough, Berkshire.

Two of the incidents happened on Tuesday - one woman in her 60s had her necklace snatched from behind in Green Drive, Langley, at 1345 BST.

Within an hour, another woman in her 40s had jewellery snatched from her in Woodland Avenue.

On Monday at 2045 BST, a victim tried to stop a man from taking her necklace while she was in Carlton Road, Wexham.

Another woman was robbed of her gold chain in Sheehy Way, Wexham, as she left a nearby temple on Sunday at 2115 BST.

Thames Valley Police said the suspect is described as a black man, aged between 15 and 20 years old, approximately 6ft tall and of slim build.

Officers said they are keeping an open mind as to whether others may be involved and are urging women to be vigilant.
