Royal Ascot: Eight arrests on Ladies' Day

Eight arrests were made during Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot, police have confirmed.

One man was charged with possession of cannabis, two were arrested on suspicion of assault, and two arrested on suspicion of theft.

A man was arrested for public order offences and another was fined for failing to leave an area when directed.

A woman arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly was later released without charge.
