Woman charged over Caversham bus stop death

A woman has been charged over the death of a 44-year-old who was killed when a car hit a bus stop in Berkshire.

It happened as Catriona Scott waited at the bus stop in Briants Avenue, Caversham, on 28 February.

Thames Valley Police said a 34-year-old woman from Reading had been charged with one count of causing death by careless driving.

She has been bailed to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on 11 August.
