Masked men sought after Sonning taxi raid

Masked men who threatened a worker at a taxi firm in a Berkshire village and tied him up with sticky tape are being sought by police.

The victim, who was attacked at the firm in Sonning Lane, Sonning, at about 04:00 BST on Thursday, said he believed one of the attackers had a gun.

The two men searched the building and then left on foot after restraining the 43-year-old worker.

Computer equipment was damaged but it is not clear if property was stolen.

Thames Valley Police said the man was upset by his ordeal but had not been injured.
