Two men bailed over sexual assault in Slough

Two men arrested over the serious sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl in Slough have been released on bail.

The victim was with two black men near the demolished Spring Cottage in Herschel Park on Saturday between about 17:30 and 20:45 BST, said police.

She was given alcohol and was then subjected to a serious sexual assault. After the assault she approached people in the park for help.

A 26-year-old is on bail until 24 May and a 19-year-old until 30 May.

Det Con Stefanie Day, who is investigating the incident, said: "There were several people in this area of the park for at least some of the time when the incident took place, including someone walking a dog and other people sitting on a bench.

"I am keen to speak to these people as soon as possible."
