Body of missing Gurdip Kang found in Jubilee River

A body found during a search of a river in Berkshire is that of missing man Gurdip Kang, police have confirmed.

The 49-year-old, from Slough, was reported missing on 5 May.

His body was recovered from the Jubilee River near Pococks Lane, between Datchet and Eton, on Tuesday morning after it was spotted by a passer-by.

Police said his death was being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem examination was due to take place to confirm how he died.
