Dunstan Green, Thatcham in 'park watch'

Anti-social behaviour at a town's playground has led to a "park watch" being set up by the local authority.

Thatcham Town Council will work with Thames Valley Police and other agencies to trial the scheme at Dunstan Green, Thatcham.

Brian Barnes, from the council, said a "number of complaints" had led them to be "pro-active".

Residents are being encouraged to report any harassment, drug-taking or vandalism.

Mr Barnes added: "We want this lovely park to be enjoyed by everyone and not spoilt by the few who choose to behave badly."
