Maidenhead construction site worker dies

A man from Wiltshire has died at a construction site in Maidenhead.

The construction worker, aged in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and despite an air ambulance being called in, he was confirmed dead at the scene in West Street at 12:20 BST.

The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.

A spokesman for property development company McAleer & Rushe, which is building on the site, said: "We are very shocked at this tragic death."
