Thatcham murder: Arrest after woman dies from injuries

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died from "significant injuries", police said.

Thames Valley Police said the woman, aged in her 40s, was found in Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, at about 23:45 BST on Thursday.

The force said the suspect, aged 35, is currently in police custody.

Pipers Way, Station Road, Crookham Hill and Bury Banks Road have been closed while officers continue their investigation.
